RightsTech Ltd wants everyone to be able to use Trailpost, whichever side of the link they are on. Our standard is WCAG 2.2 level AA.
What we have done
Every colour pairing we use passes AA contrast, and yellow is never used for text. Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible yellow focus ring, and there is a skip link on every page.
The map always has a text equivalent: distance done, distance to go, and the last known place name. Motion is optional: if your device asks for reduced motion, nothing animates.
Text is never smaller than 13px, and never smaller than 16px for anything a follower needs to read. Photos have alt text, written by the person who posted them. The check-in button is at least 44px tall so it can be pressed with a gloved thumb.
What we are still working on
The interactive map that opens from the follower page is provided by a third party and may not be fully accessible; the text equivalent on the page is the reliable version. We test with VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android before each release and run automated checks in our build.
Tell us if something does not work
